Dr.Patta Radhakrishna a renowned Gastro Surgeon,Laparoscopic Surgeon and Gastroenterologist presently working as Head, Department of Surgical Gastroenterology and Joint Director, Institute of Digestive Diseases, SIMS (SRM Institutes for Medical Science), Vadapalani, Chennai. Of over 26 years experience in the field of surgical gastroenterology and laparoscopic surgery and was trained extensively in India and abroad. He graduated from JIPMER Pondicherry and had subsequent surgical training in Stanley Medical College and Madras Medical Colleges under eminent GI Surgeon, Prof.N.Rangabashyam.
Later, he has undegone training in GI Surgery for 3 years under Prof.Samiran Nundy in AIIMS, Delhi and Dr.Choubey in Sir Gangaram Hospitals. After his training he worked in different capacities in major institutions like SVIMS, Tirupati, NIMS, Hyderabad, ZH Sikder Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh and Apollo Hospitals, Colombo., Sri Lanka.
